Hi and welcome to my site dedicated to my rabbits and other pets.

My name is Jo Rommell and I live in the seaside town of Withernsea on the East Coast of Yorkshire(Nearest City Hull).

I am a member of the British Rabbit Council and also of many National and Local Rabbit Societies.  My rabbits are shown both locally and nationally  and have been successful not only for me but also for various people who have bought stock from me.

Please be careful when looking to purchase a rabbit of any breed.

You will find that most adverts state that the breeder is BRC reg’d.

Unfortunately this does not mean that a BRC reg’d rabbit is superior to any other.  It simply means that the breeder has paid their subs for that year.  Nor does adding a BRC ring to the rabbit mean anything either - the breeder has simply purchased a set of rings from the BRC for approx 50p each and neither they nor their rabbits have proven themselves at a show.

I have seen “BRC reg;d breeders” offering non existent breeds and mismarked rabbits I.e. Vienna marked, as rare and therefore at silly prices.
